Roller Dance Fitness: May – August
Roller Dance Fitness returns for another set of sessions this May – August! Whether building upon your skill set from previous classes, or lacing up skates for the first time, this series is open to all!
Pro skater Eli Perez, known on the rink as Cuban Miss Elle, offers folks of all skating levels a groovy workout that will leave you feeling lifted physically and mentally. Each month’s 90-minute class will cover proper skating skills while focusing on a classic roller dance technique, inviting participants to perform them with confidence and rhythm.
May 12: Know It Backwards & Forwards
Backwards, forwards, side-to-side. In this class, we’ll be working on fun backwards skating moves, as well as improving our balance for every which way we roll!
June 16: Dance through the Decades
Let’s roll back the clock! This month we’ll be diving into classic roller moves of the 30’s, 70’s, & 00’s to see how skating has evolved with the times, and the music of the rinks.
July 7: Venice Beach Style
This month, we’ll be taking it to sunny Cali, with Venice Beach-inspired roller dance moves. Every major city has it’s own roller dance style, and LA is no exception. We’ll be working on “The Downtown” and other iconic moves from the West Coast!
August 18: Whirl & Twirl
Whirl n’ twirl on your wheels while we jam to our top summer songs. Solo, partner, and even group spins! But don’t worry, we’ll be working in plenty of other roller moves so you’ll never get too dizzy.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
Roller Dance Fitness is open to adults 18+. All skill levels welcome!
Do you have skates? Can I bring my own?
Yes and yes! Borrow a pair of ours (sizes 5-15 available), or bring your own.
What’s the refund policy?
Refunds will not be issued, however you can transfer your ticket to another guest.
