Cody Tumblin

Cody Tumblin (b.1991, Nashville, TN) is a painter, cook, and occasional writer who lives and works in Chicago. His paintings search and describe both literal and figurative landscapes of longing, desire, memory and loss through densely collaged canvases featuring dyed and painted forms sewn into and on top of one another, celebrated and embraced by stains and sprawling seams of mismatched thread.
