Emilio Rojas, Artist, in conversation with Tricia Van Eck
Together with Art Design Chicago, we celebrate the 125th anniversary of the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago with this conversation. Curator Tricia Van Eck interviews artist Emilio Rojas whose current project references the fair and critically examines its history and influence.
Emilio’s work is featured in the exhibition Living Architecture, which runs through December 23 at 6018North. Located in Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood, 6018North is open Noon – 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and by appointment. Also as part of the exhibition, catch Emilio’s live performance on October 28th during a free, Oak Park walking tour.
