Artist Reception: Anwulika Anigbo

Please join us for a reception celebrating a new exhibition from Anwulika Anigbo on display at the hotel through January!

Anwulika Anigbo (b. Nigeria 1987) is a self-taught image-maker whose work chronicles self-determination, presence, knowledge production, and memory. She works at the intersections of everyday life, rooting her practice in creation as a continuous process of personal and domestic liberation. Her practice uses the familiar to ground what is essential to our shared humanity. Her process uses deep embodiment, — guided by music, black intellectual thought, literature, and archive — to make meaning.
