Artist Reception & Pop-up Shop: Nico Del Rio

Please join us for a reception celebrating a new exhibition from Nico Del Rio on display at the hotel through November! In addition to the reception there will be a special pop-up shop featuring Nico’s work.

Nico (they/them) is a twenty-something, mixed media artist that primarily uses drawing and rug making as a way to communicate the things they enjoy through real materials. Their work is often encouraged to be touched and held by hand and they like to think of them as “paintings you can touch.” Nico is inspired by childhood attachments, both with real objects and by visual experiences: 80’s and 90’s stuffed animals, figurines, cartoons, and animations.
