Chicago Tribune FOOD BOWL: Screening and conversation with Chef Rosio Sánchez

As part of the Chicago Tribune FOOD BOWL, get to know legendary chef and Chicago Native, Rosio Sánchezowner and Chef of Hija de Sanchez in Copenhagen. 

Following a screening of Rosio’s talk from MAD, an annual symposium on the future of food, Chef Sánchez will hold an audience Q&A alongside Chicago Tribune reporter, Nick Kindelsperger to dive deeper into the gap between seeking perfection and inspiration under the vision of others, and the contradictory desire to cook what matters to you as a person.

Rosio Sánchez is the Mexican-American daughter of two immigrants, was raised on the South Side of Chicago, and today, continues to be instrumental in introducing Mexican cuisine to Denmark. After roles as the Head Pastry Chef and in the R&D kitchen at noma, she now runs the acclaimed restaurant SANCHEZ and taqueria Hija De Sanchez in Copenhagen.
