Community Skill Share: Relationship Building Through Art

Community Skill Share is a new monthly series featuring a maker, thought leader, creative, etc., who will guide a casual round-table conversation about the skill which makes them extraordinary.

Kicking off the series is friend of the hotel, Vincent Uribe. Vincent is interested in relationship building through art, a skill honed through growing his gallery and digital publication LVL3. The gallery, started by Uribe while a student at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (now in its 11th year), is known for shining the spotlight on emerging national artists. On top of that, Vincent is the Director of Exhibitions and External Relations at Arts of Life, where he works to support artists with disabilities in their professional development.

Whether you’re building a collection, interested in studio visits, or showing work; Vincent is excited to lend insight into how to find your place and make relationships in this community.

This event will take place in Happy’s, our holiday pop-up bar. Happy’s will not be open to the public just yet, which makes this event a fun opportunity to catch a sneak preview.
