Fireside with: Jessica Risker

This fall and winter, Local Universe presents a series of performances in the Drawing Room Library, fireside. For November’s show, we’re pleased to welcome Jessica Risker [@jessicarisker].

Chicago’s Jessica Risker brings her sparkly and sparse psychedelic folk music to the Drawing Room. Her most recent album I See You Among The Stars gained critical acclaim as she toured the midwest. Risker also hosts the weekly podcast Music Therapy where Jessica, a professional therapist, chats with musicians about mental health, the working life of a performer, and their creative processes.
