Field Trip: Warhol Screen Printing Workshop at All Star Press
Take a Field Trip with us to All Star Press in Logan Square where you’ll spend the afternoon stepping beyond the final product. See live screen printing in action, learn about the creative and technical aspects of the process and how they relate to Warhol. After, you’ll print a Pop Art poster of hometown hero, Chance The Rapper, designed just for this class ($45 value) that you’ll take home after.
Field Trip Schedule:
12:00PM — Meet at All Star Press (2775 N. Milwaukee Ave.) The studio is just a 5 minute walk NW from the Logan Square Blue Line stop.
Snacks and drinks will be provided during class.
During the month of November, take part in our series of programs that draw inspiration from Andy Warhol and Pop Art. The artist’s major retrospective, “Andy Warhol: From A to B and Back Again” is currently on view at the Art Institute of Chicago.
Field Trip Series
As a cultural hub, our hotel is a reflection of the inspiring communities we collaborate with, and through the Field Trip series we invite you to connect with those places and faces first-hand. Join us as we journey off-property — to Chicago’s theaters, museums, markets, and more — for local experiences led by hotel partners.
