In The Sky With: Soso

This Summer, join us for performances and DJ sets curated by Local Universe at our In The Sky series. These free rooftop parties feature some of the best homegrown talent Chicago has to offer. For June’s show, we’re pleased to welcome Soso.

We suggest coming a bit early; grab a drink, relax, and head to the terrace.
Masks will be optional at this show.

Since first emerging on the open mic scene, alternative r&b singer/songwriter Soso has created a musical experience all her own. Soso’s emotional yet evocative storytelling gives an honest window into her life, her relationships and her journey. “I make the music I needed when I was younger.”

Born in LA, Raised in Chicago, Soso’s story of love, adoption, overcoming addiction and surviving abuse has given her a connection to her listeners that is deeper than music. Soso is gearing up to release her upcoming project “The Downs” set to release in the summer of 2022.
