Lakehouse Dinner Series: Gilded Age, An Evening 125 Years in the Making
In celebration of Chicago Athletic Association’s 125th anniversary, we’re traveling back in time to the Gilded Age. Join us for an evening of culinary exploration while paying homage to our dinner menu from 1899.
This iteration of our collaborative dining series, inspired by lake house dinner parties, will capture the spirit of the time in an intimate setting with 25 seats. The five-course dinner highlights Gilded Age-inspired dishes such as Consomme Royale, Sole Almondine, Beef Wellington, and for dessert, Chocolate Brownie. The menu will be prepared under the culinary leadership of Cindy’s Executive Chef Christian Ragano, Chef de Cuisine Keith Potter, Pastry Chef Jove Hubbard, and alongside Chef di Cucina Carolina Diaz of TerzoPiano at the Art Institute of Chicago. Our spirited cocktail pairings will be guided by Cindy’s Beverage Manager David Mor.
