Step into Magic City, a weekend skating pop-up with DJs from the Babes Only collective.

Join the Babes as we celebrate pride month with a two day skate party and line up of amazing queer DJs and performers. Magic City represents an inclusive, safe, and fun space to simply let loose and feel free. Our goal is for everyone to unite while enjoying a session of great music and good energy.

Skate rental is available on a first come, first served basis for $5. The event is 21+.

100% of sales from our specialty cocktail will benefit Brave Space Alliance. A total of 10% of ticket sales will benefit Babes Only and smallWORLD Collective (@smallworldcollective).

Masks will be optional at this event. Capacity has been narrowed to 100 guests per session and skates are thoroughly disinfected before each use.


Meet the DJs:

DJ Mo Mami is a Chicago native whose roots speak through her music. Mo Mami aims to create spaces that invoke empowerment, nostalgia and freedom through her sound selections.

BFFcult is a DJ collective founded in 2017 by Mikey Torres & Jenna Cohen, making their debut at Candyland Chicago, a party celebrating women and the queer communities. BFFcult are open format DJs that bring great vibes and positive energy to every set they play.

DJ Dapper [Jae Rice (he/him)] is a trans-masculine public figure, cultural curator, international DJ, composer, and overall practitioner of freedom, joy and justice. Dapper believes that cultural change happens through communal gatherings and brave spaces and that music can be a driving force towards liberation. This sentiment can be seen and holistically felt through Dapper’s eclectic, and high energy DJ sets, and through over a decade of creating intentional spaces that center all Black LGBTQIA+ women, femmes, TGNC, and queer folks in Chicago, and around the world.
DJ SukiGeez is a Chicago native, fashion enthusiast, Cancer, multiple media personality—podcaster, youtuber, & host.

The Track Roller Rink
Popping up in the building’s historic gymnasium known today as Stagg Court, The Track Roller Rink is home to quarterly skate weekends, monthly roller routines, and a playful line-up of four-wheeled activities throughout the year. With a name affectionately paying homage to the running track that rings the top of the iconic space, The Track Roller Rink invites newbies and skilled skaters to lace up for events with flair for the thematic, and nostalgia of a bygone era. Chicago has long held a deep love for skating, and now, The Track Roller Rink offers skating sanctuary in the heart of downtown for locals, visitors, JB skaters, and everyone in between.
