Pickleball – now through June

We’ve partnered with Chicago Sport & Social club (CSSC) to bring sport back to The Tank. Did you know that before it was an event space, The Tank (dubbed by members) was an Olympic regulation swimming pool for athletes and members of the Chicago Athletic Association club?

Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in America – it’s easy to learn, fun, and naturally socially distanced. If you’ve never played before, its approachability will make it a quick favorite.

Monday – Thursday 6:30PM-9:30PM League
Friday 6:30PM-9:30PM Pickup Play
Saturday 10:00AM-2:00PM Pickup Play
Sunday 10:00AM-2:00 PM Pickup Play

Hotel guests are free to use the court when league isn’t in session. Please inquire with the front desk if you’d like to play.

Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, and is not only fun but also a great workout. It’s played with a paddle, which is smaller than a tennis racquet but larger than a ping-pong paddle. The Pickleball is unique, with holes through it like a whiffle ball. It is played on a badminton-sized court and all equipment will be provided.

Masks are optional in this space.
