Join celebrated artist Henry Kupjack as he shares compelling stories about his new, temporary exhibition of “Miniature Rooms,” on display in the Drawing Room this fall, October 10, 2015 through January 15, 2016.
A master artisan and expert in architectural history, Kupjack has unlocked the imagination in the creation of his miniature rooms for decades, which, along with rooms crafted by his father Eugene Kupjack, can be found in the permanent collections of many museums including the Art Institute of Chicago. Kupjack possesses the ability to envision and articulate the finest details of interiors that range in time period from ancient civilizations to the 20th century. Through these mesmerizing historical recreations, viewers of Kupjack’s work are invited to become immersed in the past and to experience places that no longer exist.
