Storytelling Series: Cindy Pritzker interviewed by Bill Kurtis
In celebration of the first anniversary of opening our doors to the public, the Chicago Athletic Association hotel is very pleased to present Mrs. Cindy Pritzker as keynote speaker in the hotel’s ongoing Storytelling Series. Mrs. Pritzker’s talk will take place on Tuesday, May 17th from 2-4pm in her namesake, Cindy’s Rooftop, the crown jewel of the Chicago Athletic Association. Marian (Cindy) Friend Pritzker is one of the most distinguished women in Chicago today. Among these distinctions, Mrs. Pritzker served as Founder and President of the Chicago Public Library Foundation. Along with her late husband Jay Prtizker founded the Pritzker Architecture Prize, a distinguished prestigious award that has been compared to the Nobel Prize.
Mrs. Pritzker’s Storytelling Series conversation will be moderated by close friend and American broadcaster, Bill Kurtis. Mr. Kurtis is currently the host of THROUGH THE DECADES, on the DECADES Channel, as well as Mr. Peter Sagal’s co-host on the weekly news quiz, “Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me,” on NPR radio.
